what size does your toddler wear?

My daughter is just over a year and a half. She still has more of a "baby" body type than a "toddler" body type. By that I mean that most toddlers I've personally known start to get lankier for a while before filling out again.

She is in weird sizes as far as clothes. She can wear a few 18 month outfits, and most all 24 month outfits. But once wet into the "t's"...things get iffy. She needs elasticized bottoms or else she completely cannot wear
2ts and even a lot of 3ts! She doesn't need tops quite so large, but still she has completely skipped 2ts for most things.

I was just curious what size your little one is wearing now compared to age, etc. and your experience with the age groups and sizing. She has always worn things a bit bigger than her age, like a 12 month outfit at nine month, etc. But now, WOW!

My LO is 20mo, 22lbs and wears an 18mo. She is tiny on top as well, so 18-24mo shirts can look really baggy but she has longer legs so that size isnt a problem. Her nickname as been "Tiny" since birth though, so we have always had a long shelf life with clothes.

My ds turned 3 last month, is 33" (maybe 24 by now) and 25lbs, so quite small.

He wears 18month for pants/shorts, some 2T if they have a small waist. For shirts, most he has are 2T, some 3T b/c he has a big head and some of the 2T's wont fit over his head! His shoe size is 7, and he has super narrow feet!

My DS is 3 and is barely growing out of his 2T clothes. I have tons of 3T's that just swallow him up! We can't go by tags in our house!

My dd is 20 months, weighs about 23 lbs and wears 24 month clothing. You really can't go by age sizing on clothing...dd1 will be 5 in November and already wears an 8! She is soooo tall.

DS is 28 months old and weighs just under 28 lbs. I am not sure about his height but he is tall. If he wasn't we could get away with 18m clothes but its usually 24m. The stuff in the ts are usually too big.

DD is 3. She wears 4T dresses, 3/4T jeans (with adjustable waist) and 4/5T shirts. She weighs 32-ish pounds and is 41" tall.

ETA: She wears a 9 or a 10 in shoes.

DD is 22 months and wears 24 months or 2T pants, some 18 months still fit her. She also has some 12 month shirts that still fit but mostly is still in 18 months for shirts and dresses. I had to have her in sposies the last couple weeks for a yeast infection and I can't believe how big the 24 month and 2T pants are on her with sposies on. They literally fall right off of her.

I do find that I have to try stuff on her in the store now, Old Navy runs really small I find and some other brands run really big. It all depends on the make of clothing I guess.

my 2 yr old ds wears 3t on the bottom for his fluffy butt and then 2t tops. My 4 yr old wears her sisters 5/6 clothes though so it really just depends on the kid!

omgosh! my 2 1/2 year old little girl sounds like a moose, she is 38 pounds and wears 4t-5t clothes.
