Birthday Present??

I am trying to think of a birthday present for my DD. She will be two next month. She has enough clothing to cloth 4 two year olds and enough toys...well way too many toys. I have no idea what to get her. Any suggestions??

Arts and crafts supplies - easel, paint, stickers, markers, watercolors, scissors, googly eyes, pipe cleaners, playdough. Or, if you have all that maybe some type of class- art, dance, gymnastics, etc. (There are a lot of mini-sessions available now for 4-6 week classes.) My 2.5 yo loves to paint and play playdough and when I am ambitious enough, more involved crafts.

I brought my 3yr old to a paint your own pottery studio. He had a blast! And he picked a piggy bank to paint and it's not sitting on his dresser... he's so proud of it

Re: Birthday Present??

Just had my DDs 2 yr birthday. Since she still doesn't really "get it" we got her one thing that she could open at breakfast and then called it good. She got a fun princess hair brush (to encourage her to let me brush it!). Everyone else bought her clothes and things. But I second the outings and classes or maybe a Trike??

We don't really get our kids much for their b-days until they can understand it. Until then, it's something they need, like shoes or clothes. But you say she doesn't need anything...how about a special day, like a picnic with you and daddy then ice cream. Kids don't need much in order to have a special time.
