Home oxygen care
Hi Mama's
My DS is a 33 weeker, he's 3.5 weeks old and we are still in the NICU. Everything is good except for his persistent need for a little bit of oxygen in his nose. The doctors are talking about possibly sending him home while he's still on oxygen - given that everything else is normal - and they say there's a good chance he will thrive better at home than in the hospital. The doctors did tell me that home oxygen care is a huge hassle. I was wondering if any of you have had experience with that and can offer some advice for dealing with it. Thanks! |
