it's there....

It is faint...but it's there...I don't know if you can see it..but that would be POSITIVE!

We are TTC and my monthly is due today! and instead a much better gift!

The only thing I'm wondering is this....I miscarried in March not long after I found out I was pregnant. I wonder if I should contact my doctor now? or wait until I'm 8 weeks along, which is when I was told my doctor wanted to see me for the first time when I was pregnant with DS.

Congrats!!

I would go ahead and call your OB to schedule an appointment - they probably won't see you until 8 weeks, but it never hurts to ask! I had two losses before conceiving DS2... mine were caused by my own health problems, so my midwife sees me earlier. Was your miscarriage caused by health problems (yours)? If not, they'll probably wait until the normal timeframe to see you.

Re: it's there....

They don't know what caused it. I had just gone in for my first OB checkup and was told "everything seems fine, blood test is normal, you're healthy" and then 2 days later started to bleed. I had to go back for some more blood tests (3 times) and then was told it was a "failed pregnancy."
I think I will call tomorrow so she knows.
Thanks!

Congratulations! I agree with calling your provider to see when to come in. After a M/C at 8 weeks my doctor still didn't want to see me before 12 weeks when I conceived again.

First, congrats!

2nd, def call ob soon. I had 3 mc before they finally checked my progesterone level and realized it was too low to sustain pregnancy. I'd call and tell them you want bloodwork asap. If you need a supplement you need to start as soon as you can. Not unreasonable at all.

P.S. Now i have 2 healthy kids.

Yay, I see it! Congrats!

(And I'm a little bit at you calling it a "monthly." Haven't heard anyone call it that in a long time. )
