Can Organic cotton fleece or hemp fleece be used as liner to wick wet away?

No only poly fleece with do that. Silk is supposed to be a natural wicking material but I found it not to be.

i also tried silk and found the same thing.

the fleece liners i bought dont do much either, they help a little.

Natural fibers help some when they are a velour or even terry. They do help keep baby's skin less wet. But to truly have a stay dry then poly is used. I have not tried silk.

I have found that bamboo velour really does help keep baby's skin healthy, also true for cotton velour, but not quite as much. Really, natural can work better since it comes cleaner, which also affects baby's skin. I think it depends on the wash routine and personal preference.

Some people can use prefolds exclusively and their baby generally as no rash or irritation. I think this is because it is so easy to clean.

Oh, but I forgot to say that I do not think hemp or cotton fleece are good choices because they generally do not stay soft, and hemp fleece is so dense. But I do think cotton or cotton/bamboo velours are good choices.
