So ds slept from 9:30-6:30 last night. Woohoo! I woke up really full. Ds only took from one side so I pumped right after. Anyway, 6 yr old ds asked what my milk tasted like. He said "I don't remember what it tasted like when I was a baby". So I put a little drop in the lid and let him taste it. He said "blech! It takes like spit up!". I asked how he knew what spit up tasted like but he didn't have an answer for that. I was surprised he tasted it. Often he'll ask what something takes like but then refuse to try it.

LOL My 10yo refuses to taste it because "Its gross" and I told her that if wrong. But she knows what spit up tastes like because she was holding Natalie above her and Natalie spit up. In. her. mouth.

ETA- great that you were able to pump. Did you get much? I am averaging 1.5- 2 ounces every other day when I pump. Trying to save up some milk so I can go see a movie. LOL

I got about 2+ oz from one side and about 1oz from the side he had just nursed on but he slept a long time so I wouldn't normally get that much. Maybe it smelled like the spit up that ODS helps me clean up sometimes. I hope you get to see your movie!

Oh, I could have gotten more from the one side he didn't nurse on but he started fussing so I had to cut the pumping session short. Oh well.
