World Breastfeeding Week

This is World Breastfeeding Week. Anyone have any plans to celebrate Breastfeeding?

I will be helping with the Breastfeeding Carnival at my local WIC office. It should be fun and educational.

I'll have our monthly LLL meeting on Wednesday and will try to plan something a bit special for that in honor of WBW. I am hoping I'll have a baby by then to bring to the Big Latch On if not I may go and support the other nursing mamas.

We have a LLL playdate at a local pool tomorrow. Then on Sat we have a breastfeeding awareness walk at the mall.

Glad to hear ladies are doing things for WBW!! To be honest I don't think I'd heard of it before this year!!

I am in south central PA, I wish there was an event nearby. I will be at a BBQ so will be NIP and will celebrate on my own!

I'll probably be celebrating on my own...but I'm looking into events near louisville KY. I'd love to do something!!!

ETA: !!! THey are doing one at my local farmers market!!!! YAY for rural communities participating!!!! YAY!!
