Smile The weirdest things get me excited

I have purchased a bunch of wool this month on top of the longies I had made last year for K that I pulled out now that the weather is going to stay cooler. I had to order more wool wash and lanolizer. Ewe Need It is my fave by far, plus she had a discount code. She expedited my order when I mentioned we had a baby due any day. I got my woolie wash today and I wasn't expecting it until Monday.

I ripped it open and am so freakin' excited to be lanolizing our new wool!!

New, I have a Monkey Snuggles soaker in Cherry Coke(for Baby Valentine and his big sis), orange Disana cover in small (for Baby Valentine), Kissaluvs cover in large (for his big sis), and re-lanolizing the Babee Greens cover in large (for his big sis) because I used actual nursing lanolin last time and Ewe Need It just smells and feels so much better...not greasy or thick like the nursing lanolin.

Lots of pics to come once everything is dry (and Baby Valentine) arrives to wear the Disana and Monkey Snuggles. We'll be doing mostly prefolds and fitteds, though we do have some AIOs for his newborn stash.

Re: The weirdest things get me excited

What do you get from her? I need wool wash, and I don't know the first thing about the difference between liquid and bars and all of that.

ETA: Also, how long does what you've ordered last you?

Thanks!

Re: The weirdest things get me excited

I got a woolie wash and woolie spray set last time: http://hyenacart.com/EweNeedIt/index.php?c=92
but found out that I didn't need the spray because the woolie wash did an awesome job lanolizing on it's own. It doesn't take a lot of the woolie wash to lanolize, with 4 pairs of longies, washing the recommended amount of time, the 4 ounces was plenty for that entire longie-wearing season (Fall through Spring), I actually still had some leftover for the same longies this season.

I got an 8 oz bottle of the wash this time around anticipating it lasting me quite a long time, even doubling our wool collection (and got it for 25% off which she still has going).

I don't know anything about the bar, but I did get a sample size from her with my woolie wash. I'll let you know.

She has a facebook page too that you can ask questions on: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Ewe-Need-It/108498698347

Re: The weirdest things get me excited

I hear ya! Ordered some Liquid Lanolin from Amazon that took 2 weeks to get here. Got it yesterday! Now I can make my own spray lanolin for my nursing pads and baby wool. Yes, the Lansinoh is great for heavy lanolizing something that has been stripped.. but just for refresher lanolizing... the spray is best. Going to make mine Citrus scented with the Essential oils I have on hand. So excited to get it made up

This is the wool wash I love.

http://hyenacart.com/naturallyluxe/

It is over 50% lanolin. I find my wool can last a month or more before needing to be lanolized again.

Monkey farts is my favorite scent. But unscented I use the most.
