Insomnia, what do you do?

With dd I swear I was up the entire third tri watching qvc or hsn...atleast in july big brother after dark is on until 2! Can't wait! I have so much knitting to do though so hopefully I can use some of that time to get it all done...

eat Not sure if mine was insomnia, or just being hungry all the time. During my first pregnancy, dh was working on site and had to be there at 4 am. I would get up and eat a first breakfast with him around 3 and hardly ever go back to sleep. Probably more to do with the sugar running through my veins than insomnia though.

I read. It never fails to put me back to sleep! Just like in college, haha!

duh! That is so simple and easy - why don't I do that??!!!

I did not fall asleep until 1AM then DH woke up early and I was downstairs checking on him at 4:30 (but he had already left for his run) I finish my first MS round and find DD at the bottom of the stairs wrapped in her blanket, so we have all been up since before 5AM. Nuts!

DH leaves for a month long training exercise at midnight tonight, and DD starts back to school tomorrow so hopefully I can get the two of us back on a good schedule. With him gone I can take advantage of reading in bed to fall back to sleep. I always complain about not having time to read, so maybe I just found some!

Oh, that's horrible! Yes, try reading... Should do the trick! Also, saw that you are a special ed teacher on the other thread! So was I, pre-kids! What's your specialty?
