Xs or S fb on a nb

I've been seeing all the sqiushy babies in xs fb! Does anyone NOT like these? How long do they fit? Has anyone went straight to smalls with a 8lb baby? Pictures are of course welcome!!

I think you could go either way with these and maybe skip to small, but there's a big difference in sizing. XS would probably fit best at first and small might be a little large as their min. is 7 lbs (and I think it fits better a little bigger), but it is doable. It also depends how fast your baby grows- I think xs would be good for a few months.

I think I'd go with XS, I had smalls and an 8 pound baby but they seemed huge....I didn't use them until 9-10 pounds and they were a bit big then. We used them until 16-17 pounds.

I really really wanted to like them but we had horrible leg gaps with them and so they always leaked My Dd was 7lbs 6oz at birth and had decently chunky thighs for a newborn too. We still had leg gaps even when she was 5 weeks and over 9lbs so I sold them. I have no idea when we would have stopped getting gaps. They are super cute though. I see everyone with them on their newborn and wonder if maybe ours were defective or something. I got them new from amazon.
Here is my DD at around 4.5 weeks old in an xs:

I liked them! The XS fit and performed great on my 8 lb 6 oz babe. The only reason I didn't keep them was because I didn't like stuffing diapers in general, and the FuzziBunz in particular because the inner is "grippy" and trickier to stuff.

Definitely prefered the XS on my 8lb 5oz newbie. He didn't go into the smalls until he was about 3 months (and I was so sad, I LOVED my XS).

XS for sure. I am JUST now getting a good fit with S on DD, and she is 3 1/2 months and 12 pounds.

It depends on how quickly they grow. My little guy was 8'13 & smalls were a bit big for 2 weeks but the XS was too small from day one. He also hit 12 lbs by 3 weeks & kept growing.

I LOVED XS, they fit well until about 12 lbs which was 2 months for us.
