My local grocery carries that too. I bought a big bottle but was scared of the liquid too. Need mom reviews. FTM due in April.

If you have a big lots nearby, check for large boxes of original powder tide there.

I use Tide liquid with no problems. Free and Gentle though, not scented. If you can't find original powder, it might work for you!

Re: Tide Users (quick question)
I use Tide Free and Gentle liquid as well and it does me just fine with some oxyclean mixed in for good measure.

I didn't buy it. I'm in Canada, so no Big Lots here. All the powdered tide is of the ultra variety, but it seems all the liquid is original. Why is liquid scary?

Re: Tide Users (quick question)
MAny argue that powder rinses better than liquid. I have the opposite results. Powder detergents don't disolve well in my water I get a much cleaner rinse using liquid. Saying that though while I LOVE the results tide gives its VERY high sudding for me all versions powder liquid HE ect.. I end up needs to run up to 5 additional cycles to rinse even samll amounts.. I found my diaper washing nirvana with liquid Cheer HE and now I get totally clean fully rinsed diapers with a single go.
