Nicholas has been smiling for days now, seems for at least a week or more.. so funny how much more quickly second kids do things!!(I was told by another mom so they can keep up with first child LOL!! MAKES SENSE!)

No smiles here yet...well none on purpose anyway. I can't wait, it is one of the most rewarding moments of being a parent of a nb I think.

I get some half-smiles, usually when dh hands her back to me and she sleep-smiles a lot, but haven't gotten the real thing yet. I remember how awesome it was with ds after weeks of endlessly holding and soothing him to finally get that reward!

I can't believe how much this little guy smiles. And most of those smiles are for...his big brother. Those two have a bond that I cannot explain or understand, but it melts my heart to see the two of them together.
