Should I call my midwife tonight??

Or wait till the morning? My blood pressure is 134/95 and I just had some bloodwork done yesterday that shows i MAY be getting pre-e again. This is the highest my bp has been so far. Should I call tonight and let her know and see what I should do? Or is it low enough to wait till the morning?

Re: Should I call my midwife tonight??

when I went to the ER with bleeding at 13 wks, my BP was 150/110 and they just told me to go to an OB. Of course, if you are seeing spots, swollen, etc then I would call or go to ER

With a history of Pre e I would call. Not to scare you but I got complacent and had seizures and ended up in a coma. It never hurts to call and have your urine protein checked.

What's your normal bp? What specifically on your blood work if you don't mind sharing?

Eta-w/history yes, I'd call. Never hurts to be told it's no biggie.

Re: Should I call my midwife tonight??

Lay down on your left side for an hour and drink, drink, drink. Then retest your b/p if it has not come down then call. Also, up your protein intake and water intake. If you see spots, get dizzy go to the ER. Hope everything gets better soon.

I have been there done that!! With my 1st I was on hospital bedrest with PRE-E and was watched very carefully with my 2nd and I took b/p meds. Changed my diet and took different supplements with #3 and I didn't have the b/p issues as before.

Re: Should I call my midwife tonight??

well, I did end up calling her and she told me the results of my 24 hr urine were normal. whew! She said a couple of things were on the higher end on my bloodwork so something may be starting, but as of right now, it's looking ok. So, I took off from work today to rest and I took my bp this am and it was normal. I'm thinking that maybe I will end up on longer bed rest if my blood pressure keeps going up with activity. Thanks for the advice!
