What size pants for postpartum?

How do you know what size yoga pants to buy for the hospital after the birth? I'm pregnant with twins but was definitely a small before. I know I won't be a small right away... but do I need medium? Large?

I didn't have twins but when I left the hospital I was about the same size as when I was about 5-6 months pregnant.

Same here, too. I wore home maternity pants that fit when I was about 6 months along, the under belly wide elastic band type. I was not (and am not) able to wear those now, though.

Honestly with yoga pants I just wore the same size leaving the hospital as I did coming in. They are stretchy and just roll down under the bump. Afterwards they just go back to fitting around my waist. I wear a medium pre preggo, preggo, post partum

i honestly wore maternity clothes for probably a month pp. the weight was coming off, but it took awhile for the belly bulge to go away kwim? i would plan like you're going to come out still looking somewhat pregnant, if not the huge 9 months pregnant you were when you went in
