Has anyone ever had a really distinct evaporation line on a FR early test? I took one the day before AF started and didn't see anything in the first couple minutes and stuck it back in the box with the other one-chance of conception being very-very slim anyway (I mean really slim-but hey, stranger things have happened

). Next day af started. I had some nausea over the next week and thinking "no way" I never have stomach issues when not pregnant (note I had subch. hemorrages with all three of my pregnancies as well) and so I went to take the second test for grins-which was negative and to this day stays negative. But the test I'd stuck back in the box has a pretty pronounced second line. Hard to tell the color as it's thin. I've never in all my years of ttc had an evaporation line, so I was just wondering if that's what that was.....

Yeah, after that long (and AF to boot) I would guess that was an evap. You can always test again if you're not convinced

I think your both right-but it was kind of wild to see. I'd always heard folks post about evaporation lines and had never seen one. I kept the other one for a few days to see if it did the same thing and it didn't, so it must have been something unique to that specific test.

Yep, most likely just an evap. I've had evaps pop up on FRERs the day after...heck, even a few hours later! Drives you nuts by making you want to pee on all things possible.

I haven't ever had an evap with FRER.. after a certain time frame it is possible to develop an evap.

I'd test again in a few days, good luck to you mama :babaydust:

in my opinion FRER's really suck these days in regards to evap lines...the indent line is so deep that you can see it pretty easily.

I've never had an evap frer. If there was any hint
Of a line that got darker with time it was always due to hcg. It is possible you had a chemical pregnancy. If this happens more than once you might need to see a dr but chemicals are common and most people never realize they happen if they aren't testing
