I really wanted to love them. I had 1 in snaps and 1 with apix with the bamboo inserts and I also used a pf trifolded. They were absorbent, and soo trim. They really have a bikini style fit which I like. My problem was once my DD started moving after I changed her the insert would bunch and sag, and then when she peed the insert wouldn't be right under her so it would get on the cover and then leak. If I could fix that problem, I would have redone my entire stash to have just these! Also, I will be keeping my cover for my TTC stash. I think these would be great until the baby gets too mobile.

cdwelton...I'm also curious. Do you think that if it was the OMNI with the pocket that would have solved the problem of the bunching? Or maybe if it was the mf insert vs the bamboo?

I don't know. I think the problem was that you can tighten the legs, but you can't tighten the PUL in the middle (light with rise snaps) so it sags. I tried to make sure the closure was even with the insert to try to hold it in place, which helped, but didn't fix it. Does that make sense? But people use these without that problem so it must just be me.

I really wanted to love SoftBums as well. They scrunch down so tiny and expand to a really generous size, so they are the perfect one-size diaper in that regard. However, ours leaked every single time. I tried the stay dry pod and the organic bamboo. It didn't really seem like a problem with bunching, I never could figure it out. The pod would only be half-wet, but clothes would be wet as well.

As pp said, I wanted to love them, but I sold them. I had Omni's though, not Echo. They fit great and were cute, but it annoyed me that the Velcro never stayed closed during the wash so I ended up with diaper chains and DD could undo it and take the diaper off by the time she was 4 months old.

I love them! They fit DS at just under 6lbs with skinny chicken legs, and they still fit now at 30lbs and 2 1/2 years old. They are easy, trim, and the velcro is pretty good quality. They seem really comfortable on him and have never left red marks. Even on my super active toddler we've never had trouble with the inserts bunching or leaking. I have the OBV pods, which are ok, but I actually prefer thirsties duo hemp prefolds in them versus the snap in pods that are made for them. They're just as trim and much more absorbent.

Actually, they are my new favorite diapers. I had some leaks and fit issues until I started using the new stay dry pod that doesn't need to be folded over and I will add a mini bamboo pod underneath. No leaks at all unless it's user error that I've let him go too long between changes. My DS is a heavy wetter and has a petite build. He's 3 yrs old and weighs almost 29lbs and the Echos fit him so well. These pics are from a little while ago but they still fit the same.

I'm a big fan. Ds is 7 months and at least 23 lbs & they fit him so well--super gentle elastic for his thunder thighs & trim. I like the super dry touch pod. Holds a ton but still trim. I own 2 omnis for nighttime & stuff with a Thirsties duo hemp prefold & snap in a super dry touch. No leaks.
