Mini Minimalist Challenge Week 4/23-4/27

Mini Minimalist Challenge runs for the week, Monday-Friday, with weekends off. I will be posting the entire week of challenges in advance. I suggest, if you are able to, taking your weeks worth of donations and drop them off on Saturday/Sunday to avoid a new clutter spot. Out of sight, out of mind. Before and after pictures are great if you want to post them to inspire others. Suggestions welcome, please PM me. Lets get minimal ladies!!!

Week 7

Monday 4/23- Purge 5 jewelry items.

Tuesday 4/24- Purge 5 items from your bathroom. Counters, cabinets, drawers.

Wednesday 4/25- Purge 5 items from your medicine, vitamin and first aid supplies.

Thursday 4/26- Purge 5 items from your families socks/undies/undershirts/bras.

Friday 4/27- Purge 5 items from your cleaning supplies.

It is not even 5 am here & I am awake & wanting to get more stuff out of here. I never would have imagined ANYTHING could get me up this early. Ha! Hoping to do jewelry before work. Decided to wait & clean out work bag at work. Trying to downsize there too. My classroom has way too much stuff in it!

I love this week! I think the only one I might struggle with is the cleaning supplies, since I purged them recently... but I am surprising myself with what I realize we don't use AFTER we already purged an area.

Excited for a new week. sadly I have no jewelery well I have my wedding rings and 2 neckless dh bought me and the earing I wear instead I am going to purge 5 things off my kitchen counter they are horrible. I am going to post pics its that bad

I hope it is ok that I can join in these challenges. I just found this sub topic. I am so excited to purge out 'stuff' in our house. We have 9 children so not purging any children, but we have some things I would love to clean out. For the most part I do a pretty decent job of not accumulating. But long to be even more simple.

Ooh, can I purge children this week? I've got 2 that won't stop fighting this morning

I'm writing down the challenges. We'll see how much I get done this week (I need to pull out bigger sizes of clothes for my 2 youngest, so I think that's what I'm focusing on this week, but I'll try to do these challenges, too. 5 items really isn't very many)

My classroom is SOOOO out of control. I had planned on purging when they painted my room this year. Then they decided to do it when I was out of town so they brought in a moving crew to move my stuff in and out without me Now my stuff is crazy and disorganized.

That made me laugh. Um, numbers 3,5, 7,and 9 you're gone. I have a weird sense of humor sometimes.

I already did jewlery but hoping I can find more. It seems like the second time I do an area I always find more that I missed the first time through.

Purged 14 pieces of jewelry so far. Still have my main jewelry box out in the garage left to do (got taken put there while flooring was installed, but it is a small box). There are a few pieces I can't purge yet. MIL has bought me pearls and turquoise jewelry I've never worn, but feel bad getting rid of. A few of the pieces I love, but don't have an outfit they would complement. It is so hard to get rid of things you might later have use for (like the pearls), but they have been sitting untouched for years. No idea if they are "real" or good quality, but I'm sure they would look nice for the right occasion.

I've recently purged lots of stuff from the bathroom (twice), but I might make another pass today and see what I can come up with.
