Re: Alternative to paper towels

I know someone who made their own non-paper towels and she used duck fabric for one side and a cotton print for the other. She also used snaps to hold them together and put on a roll. They turned out cute!

We recycled all of our burp cloths as multipurpose use towels. We use them like paper towels or napkins. Same with the wash cloths my MIL keeps mailing my daughter for some reason.

We keep a stack of quilters Nappies cloth wipes in the kitchen. We actually use them for everything...wash cloths, baby wipes, paper towels, toilet paper,ect... Then I have about a dozen microfiber cleaning cloths I got at Walmart for spills and cleaning. I have a dedicated small wet bag hanging in the kitchen for the dirty rags and wash them separately. I havnt bought paper towels in years and I have 5 kids!

I find snappable unpaper towels wonderful in theory but in reality i just stack them in a pile for a
Quick grab when needed! Unsnapping them takes too long when there is an accident and snapping them is a waste of time imo
