52 weeks...week 18
Watcha got?
This week I have quite a bit to get done! I have kept up with laundry but not folding, so I definitely need to get that done. I also need to do a good deep clean before my parents get here Thursday. I also want to work on packing up my storage room now that all of my garage sale stuff is out of there! Maybe get some motivation and move my craft area in there. I also need to go through one of my to go through bins! Friday and Saturday I am going to reorganize the kids clothes...dd and ds are sharing a closet but they just cannot keep it organized. I am going to get a second bar to hang to add space, and give them each a size of shelves, moving the spare clothes down into the storage room. So 3 major projects this week! Hopefully I get through them! |

Ok...to make it easier (and realistic) for me, I am dividing my projects into days...my big projects to do for my list are the kids closet and my girl clothes.
Monday - catch up on cleaning main room, kitchen and main bath. Catch up on laundry Tuesday - clean off island(upstairs catch all) clean kids room, mow the front lawn Wednesday - go through basket by bar, deep vacuum Thursday - clean up bar (downstairs catch all), fold clothes and put away Friday - repackage newborn-2t girls clothes, go through one to go through bin Saturday - reorganize kids closet (buy extra bar for closet), return extra toys, goodwill trip for drop off, best buy to get iPod replaced or fixed since it is still under warranty, go through other clothes basket of things that need a home After this week, my routine will be back on track...finally....but I will still be working on projects during the back end. This is what is it looking like for next week...my main projects are the storage room, craft area and starting the small desk. Sunday - go through one to go through bin Monday - reorganize storage room Tuesday - pack up holiday stuff that is living on small desk and put into storage room Wednesday - move craft area into storage room Thursday - general house cleaning and yard work Friday - tag extra garage sale stuff I have found and move to garage Saturday - go through one to go through bin I am hoping to have all 20 to go through bins done by the end of the year by spacing them out. I am trying to go through as many as possible by the time we have our next sale on the 19th. But I also don't want to get to caught up in everything like I did last time and not have a chance to |

Re: 52 weeks...week 18
I got through my books last week. It was fabulous!!
I feel so empowered by my clean happy book shelves. This week I am tackling one BIG project - clothes. We have a huge storage closet that I keep our kids "grow into" clothes. I need to get out all the bins and sort who has what for the coming summer.

Awesome! We did books last week too and it was awesome to let them go. I wish I had empty shelves. Mine were in boxes. My storage room is a catch all for kids clothes too. I space save ds1 and dd's clothes as they outgrow....those go in the storage room. Currently their next size is in their bedrooms, but I am moving those to the storage room too so they have more room in their closets.
I might stop at Goodwill tomorrow since everything is boxed/bagged up and ready to go. I would love to have that all gone too! I was able to finish everything on my list today...the last load of clothes is in the washer, I will flip those to the drier in the morning when I through tomorrow load in. |

Re: 52 weeks...week 18
Today I'm going to focus on getting caught up with cleaning. As for projects this week I think my main goals are to purge some more in the playroom, organize/clean out the desk (this is where I keep all of DD's HS stuff and it's also one of the areas where random things get dumped), and I'm hoping to get most, if not all, bins of winter clothes put away in the closets. I don't know if I'll get it all done because this week is crazy, but I'm hoping to get at least most of it done.

All I've done is get almost caught up on cleaning and laundry. We are looking at a couple houses over the next few days so I really should be focusing on the clutter though. I'm just so stressed out about a lot of things right now, it's hard to focus.
