Hi all,

I'm having issues with my Brother 1034 Serger... As I was converting a pf to a fitted, the lower looper thread broke. I rethreaded my machine, removed all the dust/fabric remnants that were around the blade, and started to chain a few inches.

Every time I'd get an inch or so of chain, my lower looper thread would break. I've done this about 15 times... Any advice?

What kind of thread are you using? Did you make sure that thread isn't wrapped around the cone holder up top incorrectly or anything like that? Also are you making sure you are re threading everything in the correct order?

I finally figured it out, there was some fabric wedged down in the lower looper area that I could barely see that was causing the problem. Thank you for your response though!

Glad you found it. Sometimes it is the TINIEST little thing on a serger that wreaks havoc on a project.
