Family of 5, we make less than $24k/year. I'm a SAHM, and DH is a fulltime college student (graduates this summer

). We live off his GI Bill and VA disability. I can't wait for him to graduate - our income will at least triple, and we'll have some fun money for the first time in five years

I make just over 6 figures, not including DH salary, but over 1/2 of my take home is eaten up by my student loans so I only see a fraction of that salary

I voted. Dh is military, I am a sahm and we have four kids.

DH and I both work full time, allowing our income to put us a little bit above the median income for our city. However, we both commute a lot and about one week's worth of pay is eaten up by gas each month. Paired with rising taxes and expenses, it's very easy to feel like we're on the lower rung of things at times.

Well, this year is a substantial change from last year so I am just guessing. Currently we are a family of 5, will be 6 in October, and I think we are going to pull in about 60k or so. Maybe more, not sure.

About 4 or 5 yrs ago, we were up to an AGI of $72k. Then I had DD2, there were job issues involved, DH changed jobs too, and then the year after that, we were down to $29k. Honestly, I am not even sure how we paid our bills making so little. DH graduated school in December, and got his new job in March, so we are climbing back out of the hole, hopefully it won't be too much longer.

About 97,000 a year for family of 5, I am a student. We live in a high cost of living area and housing eats up a lot of our income and our kids are in private school (which is very important to us that they be in a Christian school), so things feel very tight for us.

I voted what we bring home. What we make is way more than what we bring home and is irrelevant to our daily lives.

Yes, that's very true. Once taxes/insurance,etc. are taken out, some families aren't left with much at all. If I voted based on what we bring home, our annual income is very sad looking indeed.

Now if only I could figure out a way to quit my job and still pay my student loans all would be well with the world.
