I don't post here often but I'm desperate. We are seriously struggling, dh lost his job a while ago and we are truly OUT of money. No money to pay rent, selling whatever we can and going to food banks for food. We signed up for unemployment but weren't granted it Bc they forced dh to resign promising him he could come back next year. Food stamps is still up in the air but that still doesn't payour basic bills. Thank goodness our neighbors don't mind us using their wifi so wecan look forjobs. Ds is going to be here in a few weeks and we have nothing for him. We have a few clothes and diapers and a crib that's it. One person asked but the only things I NEED right now are a carseat, cloth diapers and some sort of carrier but people don't get it when I say that, its like they just want to buy me a pack of sposies or a bouncy seat, they consider cloth and a carrier a luxury or something when I think a swing, bouncy seat bumbo etc are luxuries. Our families are not happy about this baby and don't even ask about him. THEN we just movedto this house that a friend is letting us rent with the option to buy and its been vacant and not cared for and there are SO many things breaking. The family friend is a poor old 85 yo woman and has no money to pay to repair it so we're literally RIGGING stuff up with tape and stuff.

Please, please pray that dh or I find a job soon and that ds doesn't make his appearance early. I really don't like asking for help but I need prayers at least.

Can your DH find work ANYWHERE, like even if he has to take a job at mcdonalds or burger king and keep looking for work while at least bringing in a little income. That is a really tough situation. I can't tell from your signature if you have 2 kiddos living in the house or one but either way I know a minimum wage job is not going to completely support your family but it would at least help. Plus I know for FS in our area you have to be working (I am sure people cheat the system but you have to have a job to actually qualify) or going through the impact program so it would probably help you out to get FS if he has some sort of job.

He did apply at dollar general, the grocery store and a few other places around town but we live in a suuuper rural area so its slim pickings around here. Dollar general sounds the most promising and if none. Of those work out in the next 3 days or so we're going to have to look at the next town over. Its a longer drive but they at least have a walmart and ace hardware. No jobs have calledme back at all, I'm sure it was noted when I dropped off my app that I'm pregnant and I don't blame them for not hiring me

That really sucks mama. I will keep you in my thoughts for sure. Enjoy your last bit of pregnancy and keep your chin up.

ive been where you are. feel free to pm me. dh was overqualified for EVERYTHING he couldnt even get work at mcdonalds or anywhere like that:/ after close to 2 years he started a new job today. our savings is gone. i think i have permanent insomnia from staying up all night sewing orders but we made it. can your dh do odd jobs(thats the only reason we lasted as long as we did, tbh) cleaning out gutters, cutting lawns, repairs at an apartment complex? can you watch an extra kid? praying for you
