Is this a form of nesting?

I am 36 weeks tomorrow. Cleaning, of course, but I do that anyways cause I am a little OCD about things being nice and neat.

However I woke up this morning with this urge that I have to BUY stuff for this baby. Holy moly! I don't need one thing, seriously. I have a ton of clothes, diapers, wipes, socks, bibs, burp cloths (mostly Momma made except for the clothes), I have two quilts for her, tons of cute blankets, hats, bath and body stuff from Northern essence, a couple of toys even. But this urge is totally overwhelming. Maybe it's because I haven't done this in a while (youngest is 3.5)...or maybe because I haven't had a girl in so long (youngest girl just turned 5).....I have no idea but I have this almost compulsive urge to buy something for her. Am I going insane?

I don't think you are insane, but I'm not sure you could call this nesting-I think you're just excited. Plus, you know how hard it is to get out right after having your LO. You could chalk it up to hormones, though-that always works for me-regardless of my "state" in life

When I was pregnant with the triplets I had that urge too. I had everything I needed but I I sometimes felt like there is something missing LOL. Sounds like nesting to me

We're a few days apart, and for the last week, I've been on that same "urge". I have a boy and a girl, so I don't need anything either, but I "feel" like I do. My paypal account is very tired, as is my credit card
