Dollar Tree has early childhood manipulatives

Went to browse $ Tree last night and found several manipulatives. I picked up a couple different sets of tangrams (4 pictures with one set of heavy cardboard tangrams), an early cutting set (8 pictures with different things to cut) and a gluing set (same idea). I also got a number flip chart with the numeral, word and objects, sentence strips for making your own silly sentences, foam upper and lowercase letters (there were also shapes that I didn't get), tactile upper and lowercase letters (2 x 3 cards with glitter letters on them), and foam counting blocks.

They also had 1st word sets, tangrams by themselves (no pictures), lacing cards (2 or 3 different sets of 3) and a couple other things that escape me.

I've opened most everything and it looks to be decent quality for $1. The foam stuff smells and I don't even want to think about the chemicals on it, so I'm just going to lay those outside for a while to detox, but other than that, I was pretty happy.

I also bought the tactile letters and tangram sets (so I can laminate the patterns for use with our plastic tangrams).

I went the day before yesterday and our dollar tree has taken out a lot of the school supplies and books it use to have. I was so disappointed.
