Chicago Nannies

I need to start the research process on finding a nanny in the city. Does anyone have recommendations on where to begin? I would prefer to get referrals from reputable nannies and families over using an agency. Suggestions on where to look would be helpful!

If you don't mind purchasing a membership, you can also look into the Neighborhood Parents Network ( Lots of people post with information about nannies and other childcare options.

Re: Chicago Nannies

There is a group on Facebook for Chicago and surrounding area where parents post what they need for childcare. Some people come to your house others do in home daycare. Some parents do childcare swap so no money exchanges hands. We also use the group for group outings, playdates, and rarely to sell stuff. Here is a link. Tell the mod Marrona sent you.
