I'm trying to decide which doubler to get. My DD is 13 months old and a pretty heavy wetter. Prefolds and flats aren't cutting it on their own but I love them. I'm transitioning my stash to all prefolds, flats, and GMD Workhorses. I've been pad folding a small flat as a doubler for when we leave the house but it's quite bulky. At home I just change really often.
Would any of these options be more trim while still providing adequate absorbency? *Small Flat (which is what I'm currently using). This is pretty bulky when paired with a prefold. I'm thinking of getting more DR UB smalls if I get more. http://www.diaperjunction.com/diaper...h-diapers.html *GMD Organic Large Cotton Doublers. I don't know if I should use one or two of these to equal the absorbency of the padfolded flat. http://www.greenmountaindiapers.com/...refolddoublers *GMD Preemie Prefolds http://www.greenmountaindiapers.com/...emieasdoublers *OsoCozy UB Doublers. I'm thinking I would have to use two of these at a time to get adequate absorbency. http://www.clothdiaper.com/PRODUCTS/...ers_Unbleached Any suggestions? I'm wanting to stick with all cotton and would prefer to not use sherpa, velour, or any of that "fancy" stuff. Thanks! ETA: Any suggestions out of the choices above? Funds are limited. I prefer Birdseye or prefold material and would like to choose from the above options.

Have you looked at Thirsties fab doublets? They are cotton too and are small. Just a thought :-)

Flip organics! I cut the regular ones into thirds and use them as doublers and they're great, but the flip trainer inserts are the same thing. Very trim, absorbent, and organic cotton.

Funds are very limited so I can't spend much. I'd really prefer to stick with one of the options I've listed as I'd like to have either Birdseye or prefold material at a decent price. Thanks!

If you don't mind folding, I would go with small flats. Those will be the most trim and versatile. If you want a little more ease, I'd go with preemie prefolds. I think you'd have to use 2 of those little cotton doublers. The cloth eez ones are basically equivalent to preemie prefolds but you have a little more versatility wit h the preemie prefolds. That's my opinion anyway

Okay, thanks. That's probably what I'll do then. I don't mind the folding as that's what we've been doing. I was just kind of hoping one of the other options might be a bit more trim. I understand that she'll always have a big, fluffy booty due to being a heavy wetter, so I was hoping for an all cotton option that might tone it down just a little. Thanks for the suggestions!
