30 Day Shed/P90x/Insanity
Since I started back to work in December I have gained a ton of weight. I used to be at the gym 4 days a week and now I'm lucky if I don't fall asleep on the couch shortly after I put the kids in bed! So I need to start something, I just don't know which one.
I'm so exhausted lately and think that I would probably do better with workouts that are closer to 30 min everyday. My only time to workout will be about 5 am or after 8pm when the girls are in bed. So which one should I start with?

I'm doing JM's 30 day slim down. So far it's tough but great. It combines 3 DVD's: 30 day shred, no more trouble zones, and banish fat boost metabolism.

Re: 30 Day Shed/P90x/Insanity
30 day shred didn't do much for me. I don't need to lose a ton of weight, just tone up and 30 day shred wasn't enough.
I really like insanity, you don't need anything but yourself. The workouts are really tough but you actually feel like you are going to get results with it. The workouts are from 35-40 minutes. |

Anything should work; even 20-minutes of walking a day makes a huge difference.
But do focus on the nutrition after that which will be bulk of your healthy weight loss

Insanity is tough, but it works! 5am! Then it'll give you energy throughout the day!

I'm doing P90X and am getting great results. However all of the workouts besides the Ab Ripper X is 50 minutes or longer. But when you're doing them, it doesn't feel that long because they mix things up

Re: 30 Day Shed/P90x/Insanity
I just started P90X. I don't think it's one to do if you're not used to working out. You definitely feel it the next day, especially the an workout. With a 5 month old & 5 yr old I rarely have the time to get through an entire workout uninterrupted so I usually break it up into 2 workouts a day. Time will tell if it's still as efficient weight loss wise but sometimes mom's have to make do, right : )?
