What kind of toothpaste for young children? Why?

The last toothpaste we bought was something I tried to make sure was as natural as possible. We went with something SLS free and are happy with it. But I'm thinking about trying something different. The main ingredient in their current toothpaste is glycerin, and I read that glycerin isn't good for teeth because it makes them so that saliva cannot clean the teeth as intended by nature.

So, wondering what everyone uses, and why you chose the one you did!

This is what we use for our kiddos:

Xlear Kid's Spry Tooth Gel

We have the strawberry banana flavor and my kids love it.

I just use whatever kids' toothpaste we buy at the grocery store. They do have some flouride-free kinds, but we use a water filter that takes out most, if not all, of the flouride in our water. So we get the flouridated toothpaste.

What kind of water filter do you use?

We use toms strawberry. Kids love it.

We just make sure it's SLS, paraban, and flouride free. I've never heard that about glycerin before, interesting.

Well, mine are 3 and 5. Maybe I shouldn't have said "young" but I consider them young still They my babies

mine is 2 and I sometimes use water on me as well or just baking soda.
