Kissaluvs vs. Alva

I am looking into getting a stash for when I have my baby. I was going to get Kissaluvs but now I am wondering if I should get the newborn Alva? What are your thoughts?

Kissaluvs are of higher quality than Alva's are (a lot of people love Alva's and it works for them). It depends if you are on a budget or not. Which kissaluvs were you looking at? Fitted? AIO? Alva's are all pocket diapers.

Kissaluv fitteds are really wide. We only use them for night-time diapers.
I hate Alvas, they're cheap. If you're on a budget, but a couple of several brands off swap and see what you like. I spent $400 on a stash of Rumparooz only to find that they were too wide for my scrawny kid. You can then resell what doesn't work for you and buy a bunch of what does. I ONLY buy hemp on here, because it takes 10 washes to prep hemp. That's a colossal pain to do!

Re: Kissaluvs vs. Alva

Thanks for the info! Very helpful. I think I am going to try to get Kissaluv fitted. I am not necessarily on a budget but I don't want to spend too much either.

Re: Kissaluvs vs. Alva

I heard from a friend she did not like Kissaluvs because they get scratcy and hard and the babies don't like feeling the wetness. Try one and see what you think. I love alva diapers and I think they are holding up just as well quality wise as my BG and much better than my FB's have.

Re: Kissaluvs vs. Alva

I have no experience with the kissaluvs. I do have one Alva newborn. It fit well, never leaked, but is nearly impossible to stuff- and I have very small hands. I love the Simplex newborn AIOs we got in our Kissed by the Moon rental.
