vitamin recommendations

Lately I have been taking my kids chewables because I just can't handle my prenatals. I only take 1. I tried taking my prenatals at night, but that is when I feel the most nauseous. Anyone have any recommendations on a good vit to take or a better time of day to take it? I feel like I'm not getting enough and it worries me.

When I was super nauseous with baby #3 I found some prenatal gummy vitamins that tasted good enough to not bother me. Maybe try those if you've been handling children's vitamins ok?

I love rainbow light prenatal one. It has an anti nausea complex in it. I took it this last pregnancy and (could be coincidence) I wasn't nauseous, didn't have any swelling or leg cramps. It was my easiest pregnancy of the 3.

That's nice to hear because this is my most difficult of my 3! The first 2 were a breeze. I feel like total junk this time!

If you are taking children's vitamins, you should be taking a double dose. During my last pregnancy I took two flinstones vitamins daily. This pregnancy they make me more sick to my stomach, so I take Sam's club brand children's gummy vitamins. The dose for kids is two, so I take four. I usually take them with food, after breakfast or lunch.

I've taken kiddie gummies too. Double the dose. But you need the folic acid. I supplemented with a folic acid pill. They're small and tasteless. No gagging.
