Miscarrage help :(

Just recently miscarried I was 5 weeks along, it didn't don on me until now about seeing a dr until now that I've finally came to terms with losing a baby I know it was a MC because I heard the plunk in the toilet when I looked it was a greyish veiny clot it hurts so much thinking about it. But my question is.. Would my body shed all of the.. Tissue... On its own?

I actually wish I had skipped the doctors after my 6 week loss. They really put you through the works in what is a really vulnerable time. Sorry about your loss.

my dr. never did blood draws for me after my m/c's but I hear a lot of drs do (that's why I asked). Possibly ask your dr to give you a month and if af doesn't show up maybe have him draw then?

Re: Miscarrage help :(

My doc never did blood draws either. I had a loss at 9 weeks in early August. My doc says unless you have prolonged, or stop and start bleeding you don't need to worry and most women will pass everything on their own, especially if it's early on.

I'm sorry for your loss.

I would skip the doctor's blood tests, too... if you are curious about hcg levels, just take a HPT in a week or two and see if you are still testing positive or not. That's what I think I would do to see if/when my levels went back down to zero.

I am so sorry for your loss

I had my loss at almost 8 weeks. I did HPT and until 1 1/2-2 weeks and then it was negative. I figured if I was testing negative everything should of naturally taken care of itself.

We got pregnant 2 weeks after our ms and my baby will be 1 on Sunday. Prayers for you and your body.
