keep getting milk in tubing

I have a Medela Symphony at home and I keep getting milk in the tubing. On a daily basis. It never happens when I use the Symphony the NICU provides, but I'm also sitting in a different position usually there. At home I tend to move around a lot while pumping (turning to talk to DS, adjusting my legs, etc). How can I prevent this from happening?? Thanks!

Whenever I get milk in the tubing its usually because the white valve is getting stuck. Try replacing it.

Are you leaning forward when pumping instead of sitting up straight?

I've had the same problem lately too. I use the Medela PIS and realized I was sitting forward too much. Whoops!
