Soft shoes or boiled wool booties for baby?

Hi there~
I have NO idea if this is where to post this....I have a 10 month old boy who likes to remove socks RIGHT AWAY, and with winter fast approaching, I know we'll be needing something to cover his feet.

We have used Robeez for our dd, but they are SO pricey, and I'm interested in hearing recommendations for knockoffs or WAHM made that a) are not necessarily leather, and b) are safe to chew on, since feet are almost always in the mouth, bare or not!

I'm really interested in boiled wool soft sole shoes/booties?

I really like padraigs. The bottom is soft leather just like soft soles and they are cozy for the winter as they are made with thick wool and lined with sheep skin in the soles. I have a pair for sale but it looks like from your siggy your son would just be growing out of the size I have... and they are expensive new, probably even more than robeez... but if you can find a used pair, they are the way to go!

Oh, and for shoes similar to robeez, I really like Bobux! They are made in New Zealand instead of I think China where robeez are made. They have a sale section where shoes are 20 bucks, shipping is 3, but then they have a 20% off coupon : G20 so they end up being 19 shipped.

I like pedipeds, rileyroos, and robeez...I bought quite a few on here and on consignment in the past few years for at least half price. Also WWW.etsy.com and WWW.hyenacart.com have tons of soft soled, robeez knock offs and so many other mom made shoes.

You can get ones on etsy that aren't leather. I've found them for as low as $9.
