Overalls pattern?

I'm new to knitting with circular needles or Dped. I've been knitting my longies flat & I'm wanting to find a some what easy patten. This is what I found on ravelry that I like- http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/libr...kadee-overalls Anyone done this pattern before? Any of you have a pattern you would like to share? Also, I'm wanting to get yarn from knit picks..how much would I need?

My pattern (My Keiki) has the bib and the back knit flat and the body and legs knit in the round. I have gotten great feedback from customers and testers that its clear and easy to understand.

Love, Love, love Melissa's My keiki pattern. I have had bayside britches and I have knit Foggy Mountain coveralls but the My keiki's are definitely my favorite fit. Here is my George in his latest pair, DD Levi rabbit [IMG][/IMG]

the amounts will be given in the pattern and will depend on what weight of yarn you use. For these mediums I used bulky gaia and used 9 out of 10 oz. So you should be good with 2 skeins of colorway and 2 ounces of trim, hth!

Holy Moly he's cute! Love the overalls too. Overalls on baby boys are just too perfect imo I def need some this winter for baby J.

I LOVE this pattern, cutest overalls I've seen. OT, I have a Judah as well, ours is nearly a year! *sniffle*

This pattern looks great! thanks for sharing. Hummm, I just got some yarn but, now that I look at the main skeins I don't think I got enough. I got 2 worsted weight 220 yards/100 grams for the main color & for the trim I got 2 balls 110 yards/50grams for the trim. Is that going to be enough for overalls for a very small 20m old ? I would probably do the patten in 18 months.

You should be alright, I think the M/L takes 420-440 yards
