Would the Baby Bullet Steamer be good for BLW?

I'm wondering if I should get the steamer to make her foods really soft, easily. Right now I don't even have a stove top steamer so I need to purchase something. Would this be beneficial?

It's really meant to make purees, but I guess it could work.

You really don't need anything special to steam veggies. I just do it in a pot on the stove. Or sometimes I use my broiler to roast veggies, they get soft that way too (zucchini and cauliflower work really well in the oven).

I tend to like to do them on the stovetop or broiler (or grill). I like our veggies to still be a little bit firm, not completely mushy. I find that's taught DD to control how much she swallows. At first she did a lot of gumming the food and sucking juices out, but she quickly learned to "bite" off little pieces even with her toothless mouth. Steamed too soft and the food just made a bigger mess.

I have a steaming basket that rests in the top of my big stock pot and that works well for steaming veggies. A rice cooker would be a very useful veggie steamer too. I'd get something you think you'd get the most use out of in your kitchen.
