Blessed with children, Struggling for more Week of October 8th
This thread is for women that have children who are trying to have more and struggling with infertility (IF). You fall into the IF category if you have been trying for more than a year or if you have known fertility issues. Some have secondary IF and some have primary IF. Some of us are TTC naturally and some need treatments of some type. All are welcome!
We also have women who are praying to make it. Due to prior losses or IF they don't feel like they should join a due date board till after the first 12 weeks. We are truly happy to support you as you transition. Please just keep in mind that we are a group of woman struggling with IF and be sensitive to that as you post. If you put a pregnancy ticker or smiley in your signature, please turn off your signature when you post in this thread. Thank you! Please note: When your information needs to be updated, please highlight the area that needs to be updated. This will make it easier for me to update you. If you'd like to be added please post your info using the format below. Please note: I remove names if you are inactive for one month. This really helps keep the list more manageable, if you would like to be added back, just repost your info. ![]() Women TTC: Screen name (Real Name): Itsajoi (Jena) Age: me - 25, hubby - 25 Children and ages: boy, 27 months Losses: may 2012 Diagnosis: none yet... Re: Blessed with children, Struggling for more Week of October 8th
Hope4more -Good luck today!!! Fingers crossed that ER doctors were wrong and every comes out perfect on the u/s.
AFM - I go back and forth. I will check the thread a few times a day for several days and then I will get overwhelmed with my own IF grief & can't even look at anything related to IF or TTC. Ugh I am 12 dpo/iui today and BFN again. I don't have much hope for this cycle. It is pretty much our last chance as RE wont do anymore clomid/injectible cycles and wants to move on to IVF, which we can never afford. I bought some new mama cloth so I am hoping for a mnurphys law kind of thing -spend $50 on mama cloth and maybe I will get a BFP & not be able to use it for the next year. Not really banking on that working but I needed new mama cloth anyway. Sorry for the rambling, I am really feeling bad today. Most days, I can handle it fine, I now it is not my fault, I know my hubby is not mad at me, I know I am a good mom to my one and only son, I am thankful I have never had the sadness of a loss. But I had so much hope this cycle. I finally had a cycle that produced more than one egg, so more chances of actually catching one. So the disappointment is just that much greater! Ugh, I just don't know what to do after this. Atleast before there was some hope, now I don't have any more chances or options - out of money for fertility treatments and DH is just not keen on the foster or adoption routes. Sorry for the pity party today. I hope everyone else is having a better day!!!!

Re: Blessed with children, Struggling for more Week of October 8th
Mel, praying for you.
So I guess you can add me back to the list...... I tried to stay away but it is so nice to have other mommas who understand and you can talk to about these things instead of weighing down the people in my home world. It just all seems so negative and I can tell they ask because they love me but its just hard and I am so sensitive I don't want to read into things sooooooo any way. Looks like I am just waiting for AF to come. Off BC and had a really weird cycle. Didn't ovulate until super late... I a on CD 30 which is the longest cycle I have ever had in my life and still no signs of AF or a BFP so back to waiting..... Screen Name (Real Name):lalakiwi7 (Liesl - pronounced leesal) Age (SO): 27 and hubby is 27, Happily married for 7 yrs. Together for 12. Current Children and age: Noah is our oldest miracle man, adopted- 6yrs old. Frances is our first born who is 3. Lost child: early losses 7/2011 & 11/2007 and DS-Haven (12 weeks) 7/2012 Diagnosis: Stage four endometriosis. Re-occuring losses. 2ndary infertility Treatment and meds: ASA, MV, Decadron, Femera, HCG trigger, Progesterone post O and Lovenox with BFP Next Appointment: Will be a follie scan CD 12 once I start AF again. TTC: Since Francy was a baby... almost three years.

No heartbeat today, and although there is a yolk sac and a baby, the doc said its a week behind, and wrote in the notes 5 weeks 0 days (I should be 6+2 based on O, last week Mondays u/s was 4+6). I go back next Tuesday to double check just in case it was too early, and schedule a d&c if necessary. I am sad. 5+0 isn't right, particularly with all the monitoring and checking I was doing, I KNOW my dates aren't off that much. Meh.

Re: Blessed with children, Struggling for more Week of October 8th
Oh Mel ((HUGS)). Sorry the u/s was not good news. Praying for you today!
AFM - 14 dpo and BFN so I guess I can stop the progesterone suppositories now and wait for AF. Not gonna be a good week. Atleast me new mama cloth will be here tomorrow! So I guess I just wasted $6,000 on fertility treatments for nothing this year That may not seem like alot but considering it is 15% of our take home income, it put an incredible damper on our finances this year - all for nothing. I should have never even pushed it. Atleast back in the beginning of the year, I still had hope and $6,000. Now I have no money and no hope!!

Re: Blessed with children, Struggling for more Week of October 8th
Hope4more (mel) since we now have two.... I know that words cannot bring the comfort your heart needs but just know how truly sorry I am for what you are going through. I am so sorry for how discouraged you must feel. Praying for you right now.
Melmonkey (mel #2)- I am right there with you... only I just had my first cycle since off BCP after our D&C late July and still haven't started AF!! I am on CD 32 and no sign of her or a BFP and I know I ovulated late so just curious when she is going to come. I just want to get this show on the road. Just thinking of how much I miss being pregnant with our sweet boy. I would be more than half way done at this point if we hadn't lost him. So sorry for your loss. ![]() Sdavis- :*( AFM: Still waiting for AF. THis is like the horrible never ending cycle. I HATE being late without a BFP. Just brutal.
