Diaper Swappers

We have a bunch of good "Big Sister" books for DD, but they all start with the baby already born. Are there any toddler-level books that talk about how mommy is growing, why mommy might feel sick/tired or not be able to carry you all the time?

To give an idea of her reading level, she can confidently read Mo Willems Pigeon books, or follow along in Arthur books.

I got the one in this series on My New Baby and I love that it shows the baby being breastfed and baby wearing. I'm going to get one too. We announcing the pregnancy at my daugther's 1st birthday by giving her these books for a gift.

I got the one in this series on My New Baby and I love that it shows the baby being breastfed and baby wearing. I'm going to get one too. We announcing the pregnancy at my daugther's 1st birthday by giving her these books for a gift. It's really simple language, great for young children. And the child and baby are gender neutral. This one though has no words so you have to make up your own story or discuss the pictures.

What's in Your Tummy, Mommy? and How You Were Born are both good. Especially the latter, I prefer photos.
