Boba 2G vs 3G

Has anyone used both and could comment on the differences? I have the 2G but trying to decide if its worth it to upgrade. Thanks!

I haven't used the 2G but the biggest differences i recall reading about is the zipper pocket on the waistband and the sliding chest strap, both on the 3G. They are both nice features IMO but it comes down to your individual preference re:how important these are to you.

The 2G is discontinued, so you'll likely only find used. There are many differences between the two. 2G only had foot straps and a hood as extras. 3G has foot straps, hood, zip pouch, turns into an infant carrier without an insert and comes in prints and color combos. 2G can be used from 4-6 months up to toddlerhood and 3G can be worn from newborn up to toddlerhood (45 lbs).

I wore my DS starting at a month in the 2g. It really depends on the kid. I know someone who upgraded to the 3g and doesn't like it.

Yes it does depend. I wore ds2 fairly early on in the 2G as well since he was a bigger baby. Some even wear their newborns in the 2G as well. The 2G and 3G are still made the same though, so they do have the same feel.
