What have they said to you lately?

I always love the random things kids say. What have yours hit you with lately?

DD's gems this week (she's 2.5):

Me: What's your favorite food?
Her: I like to eat a kitty cat!

"Mommy, I have a woman problem" (god, I hope not!)

(singing) "The farmer in the dollar, the farmer in the dollar, hi go jerry, the farmer in the cereal!"

"Twinkle twinkle Lily star"

"Mommy, bump my butt!!" (She's obsessed with patting things, calls it bumping).

DD2 says "cer-ee-ear-ee-al" instead of cereal.

"Someone peepee on my phone!"

Re: What have they said to you lately?

DS (who is almost 3): "I want to go to school!"
Me: "You can go to school when you get bigger."
DS: "Noooo, don't want to get bigger!"
Me: "You want to stay little?"
DS: "Noooo, don't want to stay little!"
Me: "Ok, what do you want then?"
DS: "I want you to stop talking."

And then, DD (4.5yo) told her brother this morning, "Stop screaming, I am allergic to screams."

Re: What have they said to you lately?

LOL these made me chuckle.

My YDD (19 mos old) has learned to say "Spy-bah-mah" which means SPIDERMAN! It's hilarious, esp since she is a slow talker and it's one of her only 10-15 words. I let DS (4) watch the old OLD Spiderman cartoons (certain ones that don't feature rampant discrimination and are not very violent), and as soon as YDD sees Netlflix pop up, she runs to the couch and shouts excitedly "SPY-BAH-MAH! SPY-BUH-MAH!"

This isn't funny, so much as it is touching, but yesterday my ODD (almost 6) got sent to her room for some bad behavior. She came back out with tears in her eyes and a note that she'd written to me that said she was sorry. (It said: "I am Soree for Making a Big Seen.") That really made me well up and give her a great big snuggle. (why she wrote that she was making a scene, I have no idea LOL that part was weird, but I took the apology anyway!)

And DS lately keeps saying randomly, "Mommy? ..... You are the PRETTIEST mommy." Or, "You're so BEAUTIFUL." Or, "You're the BEST mommy."

Ugh. I love my kids so much.

We don't know how but DD knew about Spiderman for months before we figured out what "piper-man" was! Also, her favorite show is the original Transformers (yay Netflix!) and she's constantly running around singing the theme song, the part for "more than meets the eye" she says "ona beasty eye"

A week before Halloween DD came to me and said "Mama, I wanna be a robot! A red robot, like Transformers! Not Megatron, he's mad. Megatron needs a hug."

DD and I were sharing a slice of pumpkin pie, and I said that I loved it, "but..but you can't hug pumpkin pie!! You will crush it and get crumbs all over the floor!"

Last night at dinner I had asked DH "so how was your day?" and DD, without missing a beat deadpans "not good. I lost my bowl of fruit."

I got about a million of these

Me: "Logan, go put on your polar bear p.j.s. They're on your bed."
Logan: "No mama! They're POKEY bears!"

DD2(age 4)- Mom Miss Katie showed me a picture of her baby
Me- Miss Katie doesn't have kids, was it a human baby(me thinking it was a pic of miss katie's dog)
DD2- No, it was a little baby.

rofl

DD2-Mom, my nose flew off
Me-What!?
DD2-My nose flew off, it was big
Me-Huh?!
DD2- It flew off. It was big
Me-Oh, was it a bogger?
DD2-yes it was really really big
Me-where is it?
DD2- I don't know, it just flew off and I can't find it.

I have lots more. My DD2 is a mess.

We were playing doctor, and my 4 year old felt my forehead with her hand. She gave me a sad face and said, "I'm sorry. You feel hot. You have a beaver."
