How would you lanolize several woolies?

Can you do them all together in a kitchen sink? Or is it better to do one at a time to make sure they all get enough lanolin? I'd love to heard your lanolizing routine as well. Been a good while since we used wool last.

ETA- I use the regular breast feeding lanolin from Walmart with baby wash.

I always do 3-4 pieces at a time. I just wash in the kitchen sink with baby wash and rinse. Then fill the sink back up with tepid water and lanolize. Then roll in a towel and lay out to dry. I use Now Solutions solid lanolin with a tiny bit of baby wash dissolved in hot water.

This exactly! Except I use Lovespell lanolin because it smells so good

I only wash separately if they have bleeding issues, or if I have never washed them before. Other than that, I just throw a ton of them in the bathtub or sink and wash them all at once.

How much lanolin would I need for multiple woolies? Do I need to add a pea sized amount for each piece? If I do it in the bathtub will it leave residue? Thanks ladies sorry I proofed on the thread.

I used to wash them all at once without lanolin and then put a dab of lanolin on my hands and only lanolize the wet zones. and then spin out in the washer and lay out to dry.

I do lights together and darks together, as darks tend to bleed more. I'll use the same water if it's only a couple of items. Lights first, then darks.

I do them all together in a 5 gallon bucket. I only separate darks and lights for bleeding purposes. I use a bit more solid lanolin, but I like a lot!

The first time I wash anything, I'll do it by itself just in case the color bleeds. After that, I'll do several together in the sink. I soak them with wool wash, and spin them in the washer. Then I lay them out flat to dry. Easy peasy
