Graco Size4Me question
I know it's against the instruction manuel and therefore a no, but I'm hoping someone can explain to me why you can only rear-face the Size4Me in the super reclined position. It works if I can put her seat in the middle and recline it between the 2 front seats, but there's no way behind a front seat it will fit. The more reclined of the 2 front facing only recline positions is no more reclined than the MyRide is supposed to be when it's rear-facing. My dd is 3, so it's not like she needs to be laying down. I'm scared to do it because I assume there must be some reason, but does anyone know?

They either didn't test it that way or it failed testing.

Try pushing on the seat by were her feet go while tightening the LATCH or seatbelt to get it more upright

Re: Graco Size4Me question
What vehicle?
The S4M installs very upright even in the recline position as long as the ball is still in the green. I've gotten it RF in a 2-door Honda civic with the passenger seat all the way back. As pp said, lean your weight at the foot of the car seat while installing to get it more upright. I think I measured the seat with the headrest fully extended at 29" deep front to back which is very small. Also check that the vehicle seat you are installing behind is not reclined. You can push the vehicle seat back for legroom without reclining the seat. Maybe share a photo and we can make install suggestions. |

Re: Graco Size4Me question
It was just in an extended-cab truck that we had the problem because there wasn't a center seat to install on. I usually put her in the middle and it fits between the front seats in most cars so it's not a problem, but the truck seat was really small. We've only driven a truck twice in dd's life, so it's not a huge deal if I have to ff her in it, I guess, I'm just paranoid. Thanks for the suggestions on making it a little more upright, though, I think dd would probably prefer it so I'll give it a try.
