This thread is for women that have children who are trying to have more and struggling with infertility (IF). You fall into the IF category if you have been trying for more than a year or if you have known fertility issues. Some have secondary IF and some have primary IF. Some of us are TTC naturally and some need treatments of some type. All are welcome!

We also have women who are praying to make it. Due to prior losses or IF they don't feel like they should join a due date board till after the first 12 weeks. We are truly happy to support you as you transition. Please just keep in mind that we are a group of woman struggling with IF and be sensitive to that as you post. Treatment 3 cycles of 2.5mg 3-7 Femara,opk testing, BD'ng with IUI, Endometriosis, surgery to remove mild endometriosis again 10/2012. Starting 2.5mg Femara 4-8 opk testing day, BD'ng then IUI when get peak on CBFM. Plus RE started me on a new prenatal vitamin with xtra iron

Treatment: 200mg Endometrin suppository (100mg 2x/day), baby aspirin, extra folic acid and B6.

Cycles TTC another: 1. DH came home from deployment and 3.5 weeks later, I got my BFP. We have ZERO problems getting pregnant...its staying that way that doesn't work well at all.

Diagnosis: Unexplained infertility to start with, now in menopause due to chemo, also had pelvic radiation that complicates things a bit.
Treatment and meds: Have 3 frozen embryos (my last 5 bits of hope), low dose aspirin, prenatal vitamin with low Vit. E, Estrace (orally and vaginally), progesterone in oil, and Prometrium. Have port cath flushes every 6-8 weeks.
Next Appointment: 9/5 Ultrasound and bloodwork, 9/10 FET, Beta 9/15, Oncologist on 10/17
Cycles TTC another: Got cleared to do my FET back in 11/10 pending oncologist telling my RE I didn't have cancer... turns out I did. So have been waiting since then to get to this point. It took 2 years 7 months for first cycle after cancer, now working on second cycle.

Never used birth control, began TTC another immediately after 1st PPAF, 8/10. After 15 cycles, we began a fertility workup and were devastated to find out he has complete scarring of the reversal site and a zero sperm count.

Treatment and Meds:Beginning 2nd IUI cycle w/5mg femara, ovidrel trigger and prometrium. Will do this cycle and one more IUI and then meet with doctor to discuss IVF or using donor egg. - Moved to IVF
Next appointment: Follicle scan on 9/ 29. IUI on 10/1 or thereabouts. Will meet with RE to discuss game plan again in November.

Jennifer- That is fantastic!!!

AFM: Had bleeding yesterday and went to ER. We have 2 babies, but I guess now they are concerned about their heart rates. They both measure 6 weeks- one is 6 weeks 1 day. That one had a heart rate of 115 last night and 104 today. The other had heart rate of 95 last night and 94 today. The Dr. made it seem like our chances are 50/50 that they will make it... we have to wait another week to know more...

Did they say where the bleeding might have been coming from? Try to take it easy if you can....I will certainly keep you and those 2 precious babes in my prayers!!

What makes them think that there is trouble? Just the bleeding? The heartrates seem normal to me. You are still early for really fast heartrates. I hope you get good news in a week!

How far along are you? At just 6 weeks there is a good chance that they will make it because seeing a baby with a hb is all that is really required (makes me angry they even made you worry and 50/50 seems way too low of a chance!). The HR picks up between 6-7w so when you go back then you should see at least a HR of 120 or so. My losses have ALL had a HR of WAYYYYYYY below 100 so IMO you're good! YAY for 2!!! Did they figure out where the blood is from?

Laurel-I agree that sometimes you do need to punch those oh so fertile infertiles in the head. I *hate* people who think one cycle of Clomid is the same as multiple IVFs and losses. UGH.

I was expecting and hoping for a beta between Baby D and Baby F (DS) and that would be from 500 to 750. So this exceeded those estimates!

It really hit me today that I will not have anymore babies in my 20's. If this cycle does work, the due date would be after my 30th birthday. I know that in no way is 30 old. But I never planned to have my kids so far apart (assuming we have another). I wanted to be done by the time I was 30. I feel like we're just getting started. Even if this cycle works, Noah will be almost 6 by the time another little comes along. And I know that can be a good thing, but I wish they were closer in age so he could have a friend. Someone to really play with instead of his imaginary band. I don't know why I am so upset by all of this all of a sudden...maybe because Noah will turn 5 on Saturday. I'm sure the injections aren't helping either. All I want to do is sit here and cry over what could have been.
