Fast heart rate always a girl?

I had my 16 weeks midwife appt today & baby's heart rate was 160s.

The midwife said "girl range".

Always true?! Or varies?

My son was always 150 and above.

At my 12 week appt our babies hb was 140 and The dr said it sounds like a boy. A couple of weeks ago we had our ultrasound and we are having a boy. The highest heart rate so far has been 147. So we fell into the old wives tale of heartbeat

My babies' hrs have always been 140's, no matter the gender.

My heartrate with this one at around 10 weeks was 160ish. Heartrates have not dropped below 150, and I am almost 17 weeks. Hoping for girl. We shall see! Sadly, don't remember heartrates with my three boys.

It was true for me the first time, but it's been proven in a few studies just to be a fun old wive's tale.

Mine is always in the 140's and I'm having a girl. I truly thought it was a boy.

My girls were always in the 140s to 150s...all three are girls

My boys were all in the low 130s. Dd is my only girl and she was always between 145 ad 160.

My two boys were 130's-140's, my two girls were 160's-170's.... And my genders were staggered so there was no real explanation for why it worked out like that. I was also soooo much more sick with my girls! :P
