Breastfed baby poop brown?
My 2 month old normally has yellow seedy poop, but this morning it was brown seedy. Not green, not yellow, but brown. Is that ok? Would it indicate he is sick? He is EBF and my diet hasn't changed at all, so this has me wondering.

Re: Breastfed baby poop brown?
My 2 month olds poop vaires from yellow, orange, green, occasinally brown. She is EBF. I think it is normal
I googled and found this. http://drjaygordon.com/pediatricks/general/poop.html This is from webmd Don't be frightened by the color changes of your baby's bowel movements. In normal infants, BMs change color and frequency as the baby's diet changes, as the digestive tract matures, and as it is populated by new, normal bacteria. It's rare that color changes signal a digestive problem. Usually, color changes just mean that there is more or less of the yellow/green/brown/orange pigments that are picked up along the way.

Re: Breastfed baby poop brown?
My son has pooped brown, pumpkin, orange, yellow, green, and dark green. Sometimes it's due to foremilk/hindmilk imbalance, other times depends what I eat or how long he's been digesting. I think that as long as it has no blood or is black in color, anything in brown to yellow range is ok. I google poop while nursing too!
