The Perfect Name-- Finally

We still have not decided on a name for this little boy and it has been a topic of family discussions many times during supper. A few nights ago my 5 y.o. pipes up and says "Daddy, I know what to name the baby ....Publius.....Publius Flavius." I about choked on my supper Then later he very seriously tells Daddy that "He figured out the baby's name and Daddy couldn't."

I guess that's what happens when you homeschool...we are studying Roman history

My DS is 2.75 and we asked him for name suggestions. So far he has come up with Blue, Green, and B. Yup, either colors or letter are his only choices apparently.

That's hilarious! What a name!

My DS is convinced his little brother's name will be Batman.

Re: The Perfect Name-- Finally

When we were trying to figure out DS6's name, DS3 was HUGELY into dinosaurs. So for a while when I was pregnant, we called DS6 "Angus Fergus Deinonychus" (we still call him that on occasion!)

My DH is his father's oldest son. His father named DH after himself and his father. So when our first was about to be born FIL was CONVINCED we should name him after our son's father and grandfather, ie: Steven Steven McK******

When we were preparing for our second, we teased about naming him a whole string of "M" names, our son is still called "Matthias Mercutio Moriancumer McK*****". The next year, my in-laws had a son and named him "Michael Matthew McK*****" and we thought it was hilarious!

When my oldest was 4 and I was pregnant with ds3 he begged to name his Super Power. I even had a cake at his welcome party that said Welcome baby Super Power

HaHa!

We are still getting laughs from this...like after the first mess poor Publius would become Poopious Odiferious.
