Starving and Tired during AF?

Am I the only one who feels like a starving whipped dog during the period while nursing? Too tired to eat, too hungry to rest. Too much to do to do either anyway.

My cycles return 6 week PP, so no break for me.

No but my period has always wiped me out for a couple days before and a couple days after it comes, whether I'm nursing or not.

Are you still taking a prenatal?

I've always heard that you eat to hunger and drink to thirst when you're breastfeeding. If your body is sending you signals that you're tired, hungry, thirsty, then it probably means that you need to rest, eat, drink, etc. Try to listen to your body and take it easy as much as possible.
