The 25lb Challenge January thread

Our goal is to lose 25 pounds (or more!) and to get healthy. Each month will be a new thread.

Official start date will be Friday, Aug 31st and we will weigh in every Friday. Post your weights in red so I can track them. I will update this first post with current weights so we can see how well we are doing!

I ate Chinese last night and lost a pound. I am down 137.3 today! I do not know why I always lose with Chinese but I swear I should eat it more often...LOL!

Hi! I'm back. I fell off the wagon for a bit (stress got the better of me ), but I'm determined. I got up to 255 last week, this morning I am at 249.2. I'm in the middle of a detox, so I'm supposed to lose several pounds all at once, it won't last very long. And I'm determined not to sabotage my efforts once the cleanse is done. I really need to kick this sugar addiction.

Glad to see you back and great start!! Sugar was hard for me too and cheese.

I also had to give up dairy with one of my nurslings too. It nearly killed me with my cheese addiction....LOL! I am good now and do not crave it like I used to, but I miss it. I gain horribly with cheese.

Yeah, I loved cheese, but I realized that I felt SO much better without a lot of dairy in my diet, so I kept it out.
