Atrocious gas

My son is EBF and his gas is awful. It is on par with a grown adult. Could this be the result of my gluten free vegetarian diet? What could I eliminate or add to help his digestion?

I don't consume any caffeine; it causes stomach pain, but I will definitely avoid it now.

I've read that the consistency of their bowel movements can clue you in to allergies; did you find this true for you?

Mine too! I'm not vegetarian or gluten free though. Her gas smells way worse than her poops. She never seems to be in pain from the gas so I haven't changed my diet to help it any. I still eat broccoli, onions, garlic, etc, just maybe not as much as I normally would, but I haven't cut it out. I don't consume caffeine either.

My son has stinky gas too, but his poops are super stinky too. He is ebf and I do consume caffine. I had no idea this affected him that much. I probably only have one 12 ounce cup a day. Good to know.
