NB GroVia AIO

Has anyone tried and had success using the NB GroVia AIO on a newborn? The ones that I am looking at have the snaps, not the aplix and are an older model without the stay dry lining. I can get a great deal and dh really wants to use AIO diapers as he thinks they are way easier than prefolds and covers. Thanks!

I used them. They fit under the umbilical cord well and were a great fit on my 5lber. They felt very stiff to me and we had wicking issues though.

Didn't like these at all, they we really cute and fit under the cord, but they were really stiff and wicked horribly, if you are planning on having the baby in just a diaper and t-shirt then they'll work fine but if you want to use onesies or pants they won't work very well. I got one of the new style in a grab bag and I'm gonna give it a go, but the organic cotton ones ill never try again.

I have a stash of the newer ones with stay dry inner. They didn't fit under the cord on our DD but then it could be the rise and the size of her bum. . They were a bit stiff initially but they're super soft now that they've been washed over a dozen times. DD is 6 weeks old and weighs ~9lbs. We too have wicking issues through the legs and back if the dipe is super soaked. It's fine with frequent changes, ~2 hours or so (I wouldn't go longer than 2) so not a good option for naps or overnight.

Re: NB GroVia AIO

Love them. They fit under the cord, and I haven't had an incident with them yet (knock on wood).

Re: NB GroVia AIO

They don't leak on my 6 lb baby... but they do take a long time to dry (twice as long as BG).

Re: NB GroVia AIO

I had the opportunity to buy at a good price, too, but didn't, because too many people had the same wicking issues as previous posters. Maybe that's why grovia changed the model? I really like the BG newborn. Had kissaluvs nb aio too, but they didn't fit my guy right, even though they were SSOOO soft!
