Diaper Swappers

We are a group of parents that chat and support each other.
We have been at this for a while so some of us are out of the diapering stage.
...some were out and are back in again.
Every once in a while we actually get to answer a diaper question or two in here.
If you are looking for a very diverse and open group come on over and chat.

My first and littlest baby. Only 2660g and 48cm long. A 33cm head. She was as small as a doll but she GREW!

Born with dark (and crazy) hair...you'd never think it to look at her now

Always cheeky...right from the get go.

You cant help but giggle with her.

She used to sleep A LOT...but not any more!

Always questioning and wondering about everything round her...even then

And just look at her now...hard to believe it. 10!
I cant believe how fast the time went.

I had a good morning.

I got to my appointment safely despite the rain and very poor visual of the roads and people crossing. My sight hasn't changed since Nov 2011 which is great. I do have a minor infection in my left eye so I got some drops for that. Very expensive (13€) drops but if they help it's worth it.

I went to Aldi and got the minced pork for the lasagna, then to the big supermarket (Real said Re-Al) because we dont have pasta sheets in ALdi. I found some blue candles (which will make Shannon very happy) and got home in good time.

Made the lasagna, had some lunch and a coffee...then I made the cakes. I wrapped the presents while the cakes were baking.

I just took the cakes out of the oven. I made the big cake as the recipe on the packaging said to make it. I just thought it best. People test these recipes for a reason.

So I made vegan banana nut rose muffins and there was a little muffin mix left over so I made a mini heart shape cake with it for Fynn. I'll decorate it pretty for him and he'll have that and not the larger birthday cake.

OK, I am up. Eaten, fed the cat and dog, got MH settled in with Jerry and new cup of tea for Jerry.

Now I need to get MH up and get everyone dressed.

Kids off to school, coffee consumed. I found a good deal on a dutch oven at Target so am ordering that. Read through my new issue of bon appetit, am inspired to make my yogurt and braise some short ribs, make some broth. I need to make a meal plan and a grocery list. I am trying a week of smoothies once a day that I found on Blendtecs website as a meal replacement. So far I have just done my green monsters but there are some recipes I am excited to try.

Sorry I didn't get back on yesterday. There was a major Internet provider fail across 4 provinces, and we were affected. But yes, E was puking. Sigh. Now he has not thrown up since last night at 7 or so. Hopefully it stays that way, but I am home with him today.

Sipping coffee now.
